- Front End Developer at Acadêmicos -
Acadêmicos is a project geared towards the sharing of extracurricular opportunities and knowledge olympiads. I joined the technology team to develop new features and do maintenance of the website. It was my first opportunity to co-work with other developers (other than my robotics/hackathons team), and write code that must be easy to understand by others. My last task was to develop a deadline filter in the search mechanism, and also integrate the opportunities dates with the users' Google Calendar. This feature helps students in the entire country to not miss important deadlines, whereas the academicos.org had 373.652 views since its last update.

- 3D Printer Researcher, Face Shields & Accessibility Projects -
After winning a 3D printer in the CriaBrasil Hackathon, I have been studying printing/modeling techniques and electronics to use and repair any malfunction in the machine. In the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic, I created a project consisting of printing Individual Protective Equipment to help the public health system overcome the initial crisis caused by the lack of medical supplies. With a friend, we were able to print and donate 120 Face Shields - quantity that supplied the demand of all the polyclinics in our community. In 2021, I helped my school with the selection and acquisition of two new 3D printers. Furthermore, I developed a scientific research project in which I have been prototyping and researching ways to create Chemistry pedagogic material for teaching blind students.

- Physics Researcher at Brazilian Center for Physics Research (CBPF) -
Cellular automata, percolation, statistics, probability, data analysis, python programming language, dynamic programming techniques and machine learning are the topics that I have been studying at the CBPF, mentored by a PhD student in quantum computing research. The goal of my research is to develop an artificial intelligence (through the use of epidemic models) capable of simulating a virtual city during an epidemic scenario. The AI will simulate rates of contamination for each modification of the sanitary measures, and also predict the effects of open and close local commerce. It would be a useful tool to find the right parameters to maintain the coronavirus pandemic under control while allowing the economy to work in a hybrid setting.

- Founder of /Lab, Opportunities Laboratory -
In my school, there were not many academic opportunities, so I founded the SlashLab. In the project, I coordinate 20 students, scheduling the meetings, assigning tasks, and negotiating partnerships. We share academic opportunities and produce workshops/videos about technology, programming, politics and education. We have +400 followers in social media & 34.6k views on instagram reels. We also offer mentorship programs. Our english mentorship project has already reached 24 mentees, with our 12 mentors having collectively taught 144 hours of classes. We also run a Hack Club (A global programming club initiative sponsored by Elon Musk) with 20 students. Our most recent action was to raise R$: 1k to finance the 360º mapping of the Pedro II School campuses.

- Co-Leader of V0ID Pedro II Robotics Team -
Since 2019 I’m co-leader and track engineer in my robotics team. Since I joined the team, I have developed my programming and engineering skills, coordinated 3 different teams, taught robotics/programming classes to 20 students, and acted as a volunteer judge to 36 teenagers in the DEGASE institution, which promotes reintegration of young offenders in society. My team has already won 4 state trophies and developed 3 scientific research papers, 2 of which were awarded in robotics multidisciplinary competitions.

- Student at Jr Scientific Initiation Program (PIC. Jr.) and Olympic Center for Intensive Training (POTI) -
I joined the PIC Jr. in 2015 and the POTI in 2021. At these programs, I have been studying advanced mathematics, focusing on analytical thinking and methods to express logical results. Since then, I think more creatively and autonomously. During those programs, I have won two gold medals in mathematics olympiads, and solved +1500 problems. I also had the honor to go to the gold medalist event twice, once in Salvador and the other in Rio de Janeiro. At these events, I had the opportunity to network with the other 499 best math students in the country and watched speeches by reputed mathematicians. In 2016, I was the only gold medalist in my city, so the National TV News broadcasted a story about my performance and background.

- Hackthon Competitor -
What makes me happiest about academic life is the climax of competition and the teamwork rhythm. That’s the reason I’m so passionate about hackathons. In these competitions, I can put leadership, programming, marketing, and design skills to good use. I have already developed 6 projects during my participation in hackathons, including a whatsapp bot to fight Fake News related to COVID19, a device that monitors the air quality and alerts people of dangerous gases, a smartband to help blind people take buses, a gamified app to encourage and reward people for visiting culturally significant places, and my last project - an API for online shopping via WhatsApp audios which awarded me second place in Hackatech by Fundação Estudar. - E-Sports Tournaments Organizer at Pedro II E-sports Team -
I have been playing League of Legends for the last 9 years. It’s my favorite game. However, instead of playing competitively, I decided to found and support the Pedro II League of Legends Team. Since the foundation in the first semester of 2021, the team has already won two statewide tournaments. In addition, I have also been organizing League of Legends Tournaments. I have managed two editions of Pedro II intercamp (with 20 teams each one), an internal tournament for the Pedro II Niterói campus (16 teams), a One versus One tournament by the SlashLab (26 players) and the Ultimate Nikity (10 teams), a tournament open to the entire state of Rio de Janeiro, made possible by the partnership with the Niterói city library.

- Administration at Pedro II Student Council and Class Representative -
Politics is a passion for me. Therefore, I’m always up to politically represent the school community. I was unanimously elected as class representative 5 times and I’m currently part of Pedro II Student Council, to which I was elected with 73% of votes. In Ligia Maria Student Council, I took the responsibility of organizing teamwork, scheduling meetings and assigning tasks. I also led two protests against the cut of funds for the federal institutions, in favor of LGBTQIA+ rights, and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. In 2021, we developed a Discord server to form study groups during the transition to online classes, which currently has 120 users, 1/4 of the Pedro II’ student body. My next act as representative will be to fight for the continuity of the study from home financial assistance.
